Zee TV's one of the successful running show Preet Se Bandhi Ye Dori Ram Milaayi Jodi produced by Rajita Sharma was having a tough time trying to find a replacement for Nishant Malkani. There were reports of names like Karan Wahi, Angad Hasija and Kinshuk Mahajan to play the Anukalp, but the production house decided to have a faith in a new guy Sujay Reu to play the new Anukalp.
Sujay is a student of Anupam Kher's acting institute. He has done a commercial ad with Ranbir Kapoor for Nissan Micra, and also for Titan. The plus point in him is that he is similar in look to Nishant Malkani who played Anukalp till now.
